Description
Outdoor Roots is developed to optimize biological activity in the substrate from the very start of cultivation. Its composition consists of a carefully balanced mix of organic matter and microbial spores, including bacteria, fungi, and enzymatic structures. These microorganisms become active when they come into contact with moisture and soil, forming a dynamic ecosystem around the roots in a short time.
The rhizosphere — the area directly around the roots — is the biological center of interaction between plant and soil life. Outdoor Roots enhances this interaction by increasing microbial diversity. Fungi such as mycorrhiza expand the root surface and improve the uptake of water, trace elements, and minerals. At the same time, bacteria decompose organic matter and make nitrogen and phosphate more available.
This leads to faster root development, deeper branching, and a stable anchoring in the soil. The plant gains access to more nutrients, develops better moisture regulation, and becomes less sensitive to drought or deficiencies.
The organically bound nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium present (NPK 4-3-3) further support these processes: nitrogen stimulates cell division in young root tips, phosphorus promotes energy balance in root tissue, and potassium supports enzyme activity involved in the plant’s transport processes.
Outdoor Roots is mixed into the soil before planting and used as a top dressing during early growth. In both cases, the product works together with the substrate and activates the microbial cycle. This active cycle continuously releases nutrients in sync with the plant’s natural rhythm.
In combination with Outdoor Leaves, Outdoor Roots lays the foundation for a strong and healthy start. While Leaves focuses on above-ground growth such as foliage and photosynthesis, Roots strengthens the underground processes needed for water uptake, nutrient transport, and symbiosis with soil life.
Thanks to this synergy, a balanced and powerful start is achieved without growth spikes or deficiencies. Plants treated with Outdoor Roots show significantly faster root system development, laying the groundwork for higher yields and improved stress resistance.
Outdoor Roots also increases resistance to soil pathogens, as beneficial microorganisms become dominant in the soil. This strengthens the plant’s natural defenses and fosters a healthier, more resilient soil with minimal disease risk.
Application is simple: mix the product into the soil before planting, and apply it as a top layer during the first weeks of growth. Rain or irrigation activates the product and distributes the microorganisms throughout the root zone.
Outdoor Roots is therefore an essential part of the complete Outdoor Organic Feeding Schedule. By establishing a living soil with biological dynamics from day one, plants are supported by their environment rather than being made dependent on artificial inputs.
This approach results in plants with:
- A strong and rapidly developing root system
- Improved uptake capacity for water and nutrients
- Lower sensitivity to stress factors such as drought or nutrient deficiency
- Higher resistance to soilborne diseases
- Better utilization of available nutrients
Under the influence of Outdoor Roots, the soil transforms into a self-regulating system that feeds, protects, and structurally supports the plant. This eliminates the need for corrections, additions, or chemical interventions — everything the plant needs is already in the soil and naturally activated.
