Profs – Regulator is an advanced biostimulant featuring nanotechnologically activated silicon, designed to structurally reinforce plants and improve their physiological efficiency. Its active ingredient is orthosilicic acid (Si(OH)₄), the only biologically available form of silicon, provided in a fully stabilized solution with nanoparticles smaller than 100 nm. This allows for rapid absorption and direct mobilization to the plant tissues where physical strengthening is most needed.

Silicon is not considered essential in the classical sense but is increasingly recognized in modern agriculture as a functional nutrient due to its role in cell wall development, ion balance, and stress resilience. When available in an absorbable form, orthosilicic acid polymerizes into silica complexes (SiO₂) within plant tissue. These complexes integrate into the cell walls of the epidermis, vascular bundles, and sclerenchyma, enhancing the mechanical strength of the plant structure.

This leads to more compact growth, improved posture, greater resistance to physical stress (such as wind, rain, or harvesting machinery), and reduced sensitivity to water loss. Profs – Regulator not only physically fortifies the plant but also reduces evaporation through the cuticular layers, resulting in more efficient water usage and better turgor maintenance under stress.

Another key function of silicon in nano form is its ability to enhance the uptake and internal distribution of other minerals, particularly calcium, magnesium, and boron. Additionally, Regulator plays a clear role in triggering defense-related gene expression. This leads to increased intrinsic resistance to stress factors such as fungal infections, salt stress, and heat.

The formulation contains no synthetic additives, chelators, or residue-sensitive compounds. With a clear, pH-neutral solution (~1.5), it is compatible with all cultivation methods — including organic, hydroponic, and closed systems. The nano-dispersion ensures full solubility with no precipitation or deposits.

Profs – Regulator can be applied during any growth phase where additional structural support or mineral uptake is beneficial: during vegetative expansion, flowering, or early fruit set.
